My Story…
I am so excited to participate again this year and would love for you to join my team. Don’t worry if you can’t make it in person there is a virtual option too! This walk is near and dear to my heart. I live with chronic intractable migraine and daily life can be really challenging. Living with a disease like migraine can be frustrating and a real struggle. Migraine is an invisible disease and from the outside someone might appear “fine” , when they are actually having a really tough time. I hide behind a mask daily to cover up the pain I endure that people can not see. I am a proud member of the migraine community and have found such great support from so many people within this community. My goal is to spread awareness and break the stigma around migraine. I am a patient advocate not just for myself but for others who may need help navigating their own advocacy journey. A donation to Miles for Migraine helps to fund much needed research!
