My Story…
Help Me Slay Through the Pain — Support Migraine Research
I experienced my first migraine when I was just 11 years old — I lost vision in my left eye, felt partial paralysis in my face and tongue, and was rushed to the ER. Since then, migraines have never left my life. They are relentless, unpredictable, and debilitating.
To this day, I continue to suffer from migraines that bring more than just pain — they cause nausea, extreme light sensitivity, and intense discomfort that can make even the simplest tasks feel impossible.
The only medication that hasn’t caused me severe side effects is Ubrelvy — but it’s not covered by my insurance. The cost is so high that I haven’t been able to take it recently, even though it’s the one medication that brought me some relief.
I’m walking in a migraine awareness walkathon to raise money for migraine research — because millions of us need better access to treatment, more effective options, and real hope for a cure. Your donation will help!
